| Public Classes
Classes now forming! Please contact us! All classes are indoors, in a heated and air conditioned building. We are located in the center of Torrington at Coe Park Civic Center and our public classes are sponsored through the Torrington Parks and Recreation Department. Puppy Class Training your puppy early can alleviate a lot of problems that might occur later in life. We meet from 6pm Wednesday nights for one hour. Each session is 7 weeks long Class Fee: $120.00 The first night you come without your dog and bring proof of vaccinations. This is a class dedicated to learning puppy social behaviors, principles of "Sit", "Come", walking on a leash nicely, "Down" and the beginning stages of "Stay". Family Companion Class Whether you have just rescued a canine companion or have decided its time to do "something" with Fido’s behaviors, this class is perfect for all. We meet from 7pm to 8pm Wednesday nights for one hour. Each session is 7 weeks long. Class Fee: $120.00 The first night you come without your dog and bring proof of vaccinations. In these classes you will learn, "Sit", "Down", "Stay" , "Wait", "Stand", "Come", and "Heel" as a position, as well as others. At the end of the 7 week sessions we proof to 2-3 minute down and sit stays. Some of the topics we discuss:

Beyond Basics This class is dedicated to having fun with your trained dog. There are games, distractions, and lots of new things to learn in this class. We meet from 8pm to 9pm Wednesday nights for one hour. Each session is 7 weeks long. Class Fee $120.00 First night is with dog, must provide proof of vaccinations. This class is a class for dogs who have mastered the basics, and are ready to move on to more distractions, and proofings. In these classes, the following may be covered but not limited to:
The class is freely structured working with each individual team’s capabilities. At the end of this 7 week session, teams will have the opportunity to be evaluated for the Canine Good Citizen Certificate. **Note: The fee for CGC evaluation is separate from the Class Fee.
